Pleated media elements are ideally suited to removal of granular contaminants from oils, fuels and water. FSP's special resin-impregnated or synthetic media achieve extended area for high flow rates, low pressure drop and ultra-fine filtration.

Wound elements from FSP filter liquids containing small particulates or limited soft contaminates. Natural or synthetic yarns combined with a range of core materials produce finished elements with a nominal micron rating of 0.5 to 200 microns. Wound elements are available in:

• Cotton, polyester, polypropylene, nylon
• Rayon, glass, carbon.

Self-contained, disposable spin-on elements contain surface or depth-type media in a metal housing. They are suitable for use at up to 100 GPM/element, 700 PSIG operating pressure and 3- to 150-micron filtration.
